The Ultimate Australian Bucket List


 1. Go to the Figure 8 Pools~  Located in the Royal National Park it is about an hour away from Sydney and is a lovely destination.  It only costs $12 to enter the park. 


2.  Feed a Kangaroo

3.  Feed a Wallaby-
Wallabies are smaller kangaroos and are usually pretty friendly near campsites where they are fed by visitors.  I found this one in the Freycinet National Park.

4.  Visit the Bay of Fires~ The Bay of Fires is located in the Northeast of Tasmania.  The rocks are colored in beautiful red due to erosion.


5.  Snorkel the Great Barrier Reed 

6.  Roadtrip the Great Ocean Road 

7.  Visit the Eureka Skydeck 88~ Has amazing city view of Melbourne, it also has free Wifi which is always a plus

8..  Climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge

9.  Hug a Koala!

10.  Visit Brighton Beach~ Brighton Beach is not my favorite beach for swimming but it does have these adorable beach houses on the sand.  I recommend going at sunrise because there is significantly less people and it is great for photos!


11.  Visit Wineglass Bay in Tasmania~ Located in Freycinet National Park it has beautiful beaches and adorable Wallabies!

12.  Try Kangaroo meat!

13.  Try Vegemite!~
Vegemite toast is actually quite good once you do it right! First you pust butter the toast and put a scare amount of Vegemite on it.

14.  Visit a Nude Beach ~ Australia is covered with nude beaches many of them are in Sydney.  Lady Jane beach is historic since it is the first recognized nude beach in Australia.  Though the one I visited was located in Perth. 


15.  Take a selfie with a Quokka at Rottsnest Island~
Rottsnest Island is am island off the coast of Perth which the most adorable creatures~ Quokkas inhabit.

16.  Go surfing on the beaches of the Great Ocean Road 

17.  Explore the Blue Mountains in Sydney 

18.  Catch a Footy Game~
AFL is a huge part of Aussie culture and catching a game is crucial.  

19.  Visit the black rock beach on Phillip Island

20.  Visit the Penguins on Phillips Island or St. Kilda Beach

Iceberg Pool at Bondi Beach 

21.  Go to Bondi Beach!

22. Visit Hosier Lane~ This alley is located in Melbourne and has beautiful graphic designs all throughout 


23.  Stay at the wildest hostel ever! ~ Gilligan's Backpackers and Hotel and Resort is a hostel in Cairns which is the ideal place to visit the Great Barrier Reef.  The hostel is amazing because not only does it have a pool but it is also has a club inside of it! Which is super wild may I also state!

24.  Visit the 12 Apostles ~ One of the wonders of world located on the Great Ocean Road 

25.  Bondi to Coogee Walk ~ Quite a long walk but exceptionally beautiful!
